The multi view glasses developed by E3S allow 2, 3 or 4 operators, in charge of different missions, to work on the same projection support (table) but with each operator seeing a different view

This common interface offers the possibility to each user to choose the data to be viewed in private, which avoids information overload while increasing the interaction between the different users.

E3S technologies provide multi-users projection systems combining 3 image multiplexing techniques (time, spectral, polarization) according to requests enabling to provide independent channels from 3 equipped projectors.

All options are, however, not equivalent w.r. to crosstalk, luminance and color balance performance. Time multiplexing is theoretically infinite but in practice limited by the shutter switching time, and the power division (per channel), similarly for spectral options, increase in channel number results in color unbalance, polarization being intrinsically limited to 2.

In this frame E3S proposes two commercial options: regular 4 and premium 6 channels (time/spectral) but can engineer more channels on demand usable for CAVE or multi-view  and multi-users displays.

Illustration in the regular case for 2,3,4 users :
a) the table
b) the 3 independant views (2x2D 1x3D),
c) the 3 goggles,
d) the optical head:with 2 equiped projectors.

4 images can be distributed differently w.r. to the needs. For 2users observing in 3D, or 4 users each with their own image in 2D, or three users, one of switching between 2D and 3D modes, without having to change glasses, by modifying the images sent by the projector, as shown opposite

Similarly, in the premium with 6 images, we could have 3 people observing their own 3D contents or 6 people observing their 2D images, as well as all intermediate cases with 4 or 5 users, with 1 or 2 users being able to switch between 2 and 3D modes
